This movie is more like reading a book where you ride through the journey of these three men. Will Ferrel, Grant Shaud and Anthony Palermo acted their part well. The women however were bad, they fail to show emotion in the part given to them. It is still worth watching from beginning to end. Yea I'm like the rest of these people, I got this movie for like 2 or 3 bucks cause I saw Will Ferrell on the cover. And yea its pretty bad, but Ferrell makes it watchable he has a few good lines, ('that was like 4 'geraldos') or something to that effect after his buddy tells him about the date he had the night before. This movie takes itself way too seriously and the guy from Murphy brown who's always drinking pepto bismo is horrendous.

Men Seeking Women is a comedy about three guys, not having much luck with women, engaging in a bet where the winner must obtain a girlfriend and live with her for three months. Whoever accomplishes this first wins the pot. Grant Shaud plays Les, the instigator of the bet, while Will Ferrell and Anthony Palermo play Al and Nick, respectively.

When dealing with the plot of the bet, things begin to sink from lack of interest, as the mechanics of the plot lacks the appeal of the characters themselves. Each of the men has his own story, and yes, one of them eventually wins the bet, but the wind-down of the stories and the subsequent wrap-up provide the most unsatisfying moments of the film. Just as the story maintained its likeability by ignoring the plot, eventually it's done in finally dealing with it. This makes Men Seeking Women another run-of-the-mill romantic comedy, providing the occasional chuckle, but not able to escape its own ill-conceived trappings.
